Tatyana Kalko

Tatyana Kalko is an actress, singer and songwriter. Past OBP credits include Killing Time, Naked Theater, and Acoustic Cabaret. She holds a BFA in Drama from NYU and has trained at the Moscow Art Theatre and the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. 

Tatyana was born in Belarus right before the collapse of the Soviet Union. She grew up in Philadelphia to working class parents who share a love for the arts. Tatyana learned how to work the audience at an early age, performing in many concerts throughout the Philadelphia area. In high school, she was heavily involved in the performing arts department, playing lead saxophone in Jazz Band and singing with The All City Choir. 

Past acting credits include Dead Man's Cell Phone (LSTFI), The Marriage (Moscow Art Theater School) and Explanations (Eugene O'Neill Theater Center), as well as several short films.

As a songwriter, Tatyana got her start three years ago when she picked up her dad’s guitar. She was recently chosen to be a Featured Artist on the new Myspace, and is in the process of recording her original folk/rock songs. For more info and videos, please check out her website here!
