Sharon Pinney earned her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Appalachian State University. After graduating she moved to Wilmington, NC (the "East Coast Hollywood") where she honed her craft on stage and in independent films. After moving to NYC, she made her Off-Broadway debut in The Sanctuary as Morgan - a young recovering drug addict that was intended for an ethnic actress. Other favorite roles include The Fool in King Lear with The Cape Fear Shakespeare Festival, and Princess Kitty in Anna Karenina, where she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama by the Metrolina Theatre Association.

She performed in Killing Time with OBP and is excited and honored to be part of this amazing company. From the quirky girl-next door to the most tragic of characters, Sharon loves portraying them all. And she recently landed the role of a lifetime - Mom - in real life!
