Jeremiah Jurkiewicz

Jeremiah Jurkiewicz was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He didn't discover he had a talent in acting until his sophomore year in high school when he was cast as Rev. Shaw Moore in Footloose. Since then he has never stopped pursuing his dreams! He moved to Staten Island, NY in 2008 to study Dramatic Arts at the College of Staten Island, CUNY and received his bachelor's in 2012. Everyone always asks him how he came to Staten Island and the short story is "Google." If you want the long story feel free to ask him. Since moving here he has fallen in love with the borough and its big city, small town attitude and underdog status.

Jeremiah is the Assistant Director for Say What? NYC Comedy Improv, which performs every Second Saturday at the Blarney Stone 8th Ave. He auditioned for them because he was completely freaked out by improv and lo and behold he turned out be be pretty good at it! He is also the voice to many characters in The Captian Punishment Adventure Hour. It is a comic-book parody, serial podcast, inspired by the old time radio shows like Superman, Little Orphan Annie, or the immensely popular Shadow. Download it for free on Itunes!
